Skype meeting with Spanish school

A skype meeting with the Spanish school  took place during the 2nd year of the project. Students of bioth schools made pairs and talked to each other about their favourire sports and everyday habits. Students of the 6th grade of our school had the chance to use english and get to know their peers of the school in Tomelosso, Spain.

First grade's welcome video

This is a video created  to be presented in class during the partners' visit at our school. different classes had presented various activities to welcome the visiting teachers. The video that follows was presented in the first grade .

Dissemination of the project

At the end of the school year a disemination day was organised at our school. Parents of the school, the school advisor Ms Kekia were invied to attend the celebration which took place at the Town Hall. Activities were presented along with videos of visits and projects created during these 3 years. Additionally students that travelled to Finland described their experience and their impressions of the Finnish school.

New teaching method

As part of our implementing a new teaching method, we  have decided to use chess as a means of teaching other subjects. Therefore, chess has been used for teaching Greek vocabulary  and Maths, Literacy and numeracy. Students enjoyed learning while playing and revising while having fun.

6th project meeting in Finland

The final project meeting in Tampere, Finland took place in April. A delegation of school school with 4 students and 4 teachers travelled to the beautiful city in Spring to receive a warm welcome from the Finnish school. During the meeting students took part in workshops and enjoyed the culture and wonderful hospitality of the Finns while being toured at the newly-constructed bulilding.
